Richie Buckley aka Blvk Sheep is an up and coming trap producer from Staten Island, New York, who just unleashed a massive trap/future bass remix of Alison Wonderland’s track “Already Gone” ft. Braves & Lido and it deserves to be on repeat.
Opening with a slow and steady build, Buckley takes the original track to the next level at the drop with some seriously beautiful synth and chord work that is straight up fire.
We caught up with Buckley for a quick interview on the track, check out what he had to say below.
TFM: What made you decide to remix Alison Wonderland’s “Already Gone’?
Buckley: Well I really liked the song but I thought the drop could have been better. So I decided to take a shot at remixing it. After about 5-6 different drop ideas, I came up with the one I released.
TFM: What inspired your drops and synth work?
Buckley: I was definitely inspired by my homies AMF. They did a remix of Future – Stick Talk that I have been playing out a lot & then I decided that was the route I wanted to go by doing some huge brass hits & dope future chords & also Vincent’s remix of Alison Wonderland – ‘U don’t know’ as well.
TFM: What was your favorite part of the remix?
Buckley: Definitely the 2nd drop I kept everything the same but added the tom roll on the first beat & made the chords kind of bouncy.
Fingers crossed that this remix makes into one of Alison Wonderland’s DJ sets, I’d love to see her drop it live on her upcoming US tour.
