Iowa based artist Dave Plaehn is coming off the release of his new full-length blues/adult contemporary album, “Radio Sister”. Having been raised in a family of talented musicians/artists, Plaehn began getting into the blues listening to Koerner, Ray and Glover and Leadbelly. Though mostly known for his singing, his harmonica playing improved considerably and by the end of college he had discovered many of his major influences: Stevie Wonder, Aretha Franklin, and Joni Mitchell to name a few.
‘Radio Sister’ has a really simple and smooth…almost 80’s feel to it. One thing is for sure, this man kills it on the harmonica. Check it out below:
